Skin Type Quick Guide

If you’re continuously second guessing your skin type on the daily, you aren’t alone. The skin could be fickle sometimes, making it difficult to decide on the best way to take care of it. Luckily, we’ve created a super quick and easy skin type guide that will hopefully clear up some of that confusion. 

OILY

Key Feature: Slick to the touch with a shiny appearance from morning till night

Enlarged pores, excess oils in the T-zone (forehead and nose), prone to acne

NORMAL

Key Feature: No major skin issues

Normally a dewy appearance with minimal irritations or changes during the seasons

DRY

Key Feature: Flakey and rough patches from morning till night

Tight feeling, itchy in certain areas such as cheeks, dull appearance

SENSITIVE

Key Feature: Visible redness and irritations

Usually react negatively to many products, hot on contact, itchy breakouts

COMBINATION

Key Feature: Oily in some places, dry in others

Oiliest around the nose and cheeks, driest on the forehead and chin

ACNE-PRONE

Key Feature: Normally combination or oily skin

Can be caused by sensitivity or hormonal imbalances, easy  acne flare-ups, appear in the oilier areas
