Although our moisturizers are not fully certified organic, we use USDA organic ingredients whenever possible.
Is animal testing performed on any of Rose & Abbot’s products?
We believe that animal testing has no place in the beauty industry, so no animals are used in our company, other than our friendly Unicorn as a mascot.
How does Rose & Abbot make my personalized formula?
In order to formulate your personalized moisturizer, Rose & Abbot takes the answers submitted to your skincare quiz and uses an algorithm to create your perfect blend! If you need your formula tweaked in the future, you can simply retake our quiz or contact us to get intouch with a Rose & Abbot chemist.
Is the moisturizer safe for use during pregnancy and nursing?
Although we source and create our formulas with the best ingredients for your skin care routine, we always advise to run though the ingredient list with your medical care provider. Especially if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or are nursing.
Do you offer sun protection?
At Rose & Abbot we are strong advocates for sunblock use. Since we are based in Southern California, we believe that sun protection is a requirement, not an option and its proper application is key. This is why we currently do not have a SPF option to add to your moisturizer. We believe that sunblock is needed to be re-applied every few hours. This is why we are still working on perfecting the best delivery method for our sunblock without compromising its effectiveness. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter to get notified as soon as our sunblock is ready. In the meantime, make sure to use your favorite one in combination with your Rose & Abbot moisturizer.
I have acne. Can I still use your moisturizer?
Absolutely! Because the formula is designed specifically for your skin care needs, we will utilize ingredients that are specifically used to purify and balance the skin. If you suffer from severe acne and are also using a prescription medication for its treatment, make sure to run through the ingredient list with your primary physician or dermatologist. Just to make sure that there is no ingredient interference.
Do you offer samples?
Yes! We do offer samples. The sample is free and all you have to do is pay for shipping.
How long will it take for me to see results?
Because everyone’s skin is different, the time for visible results varies. However, our use of fresh botanical ingredients helps ensure that your skin is getting the necessary nutrients to make a difference within a few days of use. Some ingredients such as brightening and firming boosters take a little bit longer to work due to cell turnover rate. Be patient, it’s worth the wait!
How long should my moisturizer last?
Your moisturizer comes in a 1oz/30ml bottle. Using this morning and evening, it should last for around 30 days of use.
How long is my Rose & Abbot moisturizer good for?
We create your individual moisturizer as soon as you place your order; thus, your moisturizer has a set expiration date on the bottom of your specific unique bottle.
I don’t like the product. What should I do?
We strive to create a product to match your skin care needs. Thus, if for some reason your moisturizer is not working for you, let us know within 14 days! We’d be happy to revise your formula and send you a new moisturizer or issue a refund for your purchase. Whichever you prefer! You can contact us here.
Is my moisturizer made to be a night cream or day cream?
Your personalized moisturizer is made to be a daily moisturizer, so you can use it as both a day and night cream.
How much are the shipping costs?
We utilize USPS for shipping domestically in the United States at a flat rate fee of $5.00.
How fast is my moisturizer shipped?
We process orders within 2 days unless a weekend or a holiday gets in the way. Your unique moisturizer is shipped as soon as it’s been created. With typical shipping time being 3-5 days.
Can I track my order?
As soon as your moisturizer is created, packed and ready to ship you will receive a notification email with a tracking number.
Is your packaging recyclable/sustainable?
Every part of our packaging from the shipping label to the container itself is fully recyclable.
My package is damaged, what can I do?

Do you ship overseas?
Although Rose & Abbot currently only ships domestically in the United States, we are looking to offer international shipping in the near future. Make sure to sign up for our emails to stay in the know about international shipping options!
